What we collect on this site, and what we do not.

Overview

This page describes how Lumina handles information on trustlumina.com. It is written plainly rather than defensively, because a company asking food manufacturers to trust it with their records should be able to explain its own data handling in a page you can actually read.

01 · What this site collects

Two things: what you send us, and how you found us.

  • What you submit

    If you fill in the form on our contact page or email us, we receive what you chose to send: typically your name, work email, company, and your message. We use it to reply to you and to keep track of the conversation. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside Lumina except the service providers below.

  • Analytics

    We record aggregate visit data: pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, browser and device type. That tells us which pages are useful. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.

  • What we never collect here

    No payment details. Nothing on this site takes card or bank information. No special-category data. We do not ask for health, biometric, or government-ID information on this website.

02 · Cookies and third parties

Named, not buried in a list of forty vendors.

  • HubSpot

    We use HubSpot for our contact form and to understand how people arrive at the site. It sets cookies in your browser, including hubspotutk, which identifies your browser across visits, and __hstc / __hssc / __hssrc, which record visit and session timing. If you later submit the form, HubSpot can associate your earlier visits with your submission.

  • Google Fonts

    Typefaces are served from Google Fonts, so loading a page sends a request, including your IP address, to Google's servers. No cookie is set by this.

  • Analytics tags

    Where analytics is enabled, it is delivered through Google Tag Manager and may set cookies to distinguish repeat visits.

  • Opting out

    You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's private mode, and the site will still work. The contact form is the only feature that depends on a third party. Most browsers also let you send a global privacy control or "do not track" signal, which we honor where the law requires it.

  • No advertising

    We do not run advertising pixels on this site, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

03 · Customer data in the product

Your documents are not a third party's training data.

This section is about the Lumina platform rather than this website, because it is the question customers ask first.

We run our own models in our own environments. Specifications, SOPs, HACCP plans, equipment manuals, lab reports and detection logs that a customer ingests are not sent to a third-party AI API, and they are not used to train models for anyone else.

Customer data is separated by client and access is governed by roles the customer administers. Access changes and record changes are captured in an audit log.

Contractual terms (retention periods, deletion on termination, sub-processors, and security commitments) are covered in the agreement for a pilot or deployment, not by this page. Ask us and we will send them.

04 · Your choices

Ask us and we will tell you, correct it, or delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, obtain a copy, or object to how we use it. We apply these on request regardless of where you live. It is simpler than checking, and it is the answer we would want.

Email hello@trustlumina.com with what you want done. We will confirm receipt and act on it, and we will tell you if there is a legal reason we cannot. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.

We keep contact enquiries for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period after, then delete them. If you never hear from us again, you can ask us to delete your enquiry immediately.
