LuminaDesign partners
A partnership, not a purchase.
One facility, one line, one shift, counted by your team. Here is what you give, what you get, and what starting looks like.
Two ways in
Bring us the surface that keeps coming back, or the line you want counted.
-
Quality
See a year of your swab results on your own floor plan.
Send us your floor plan and a year of lab PDFs under NDA. The first thing you see is your own plant, with every positive pinned where it was taken and the repeat sites visible.
Start with your results -
Operations
One line, one quarter, counted by your team.
A four-week baseline from your own logs, then the record running on one line and one shift. Your count against your baseline decides what happens next.
Start with one line
What you give
- One facility. Start with one line, one room, one shift.
- A named owner and a backup on your side.
- Your floor plan, a year of lab results, your SOPs and HACCP plans.
- Install access through your normal contractor onboarding, in a sanitation window or scheduled stop.
- A baseline you count before day one, from your own logs.
- A regular working session.
What you get
- The platform on your own data first, before the second meeting.
- Setup done with you, not handed to you.
- Early access to the sensor at swab sites you choose, when it is ready for a plant, paired with your existing testing, with no hold or release authority.
- A say in what gets built, and the order it gets built in.
- No fee during the pilot; converting is your decision on the measured result.
- The post-pilot price in writing before the pilot starts.
The terms people ask about
- 01
Your data
You own it. The plant sets what is captured and how long it is kept. It is exported in a standard format at no charge, and deleted when you leave. Take the data terms to your counsel before you sign; we expect it.
- 02
Your procedures
Your sampling plan, verification testing and release decisions stay exactly as they are. The paper procedure stays in document control until you retire it on a date you set.
- 03
Leaving
No penalty to leave. No automatic conversion. Lumina supplies and installs everything for the trial at no charge; the post-pilot price is in writing before it starts, and converting is your decision on the measured result.
- 04
Who owns it when it breaks
A named Lumina contact with a response time written into the agreement, and an owner your plant chooses with a backup. The platform runs without any sensor and works offline, so a device fault is not a record failure.
How a pilot runs
What starting looks like.
A plan we agree with you, never a typical timeline.
- 01
Before day one
One line, one shift, named owners on each side, the measurement baseline started from your own logs.
- 02
Weeks 1 to 2
Walk the route for dead zones. Job aids in the floor's languages. Training at the station, on each shift, third shift included.
- 03
Weeks 2 to 4
Paper and app in parallel, with a written date when the paper form comes off the clipboard, told to your inspector-in-charge in advance.
- 04
Weeks 4 to 12
The supervisor owns the number in the existing huddle. At week eight, review what people stopped doing. If it added taps and removed nothing, we fix it or stop.
- 05
Day 90
Your count against your own baseline decides what happens next.
Answered in the first call
The questions a plant manager asks, and we answer by role and by week.
- The price: what the per-facility figure includes, the year-two price, and which budget line it usually sits on.
- Salaried hours per week by role during the pilot, and when our people are on site, including the pilot shift.
- IT and network: a data-flow diagram, hosting, the security questionnaire, sign-in with your email, Google or Microsoft accounts.
- Training time per role, planned as short blocks at the station on every shift.
- Owners: who at the plant owns which part, with a backup each, and our implementation person with a backup.
- Any sensor: mount and washdown rating, hygienic-design review, the cleaning step, the steward and HR demo, and telling the inspector-in-charge before it goes up.
There is no customer reference to call yet. We will name our first design partner when they agree to be named.

A floor plan and a year of lab PDFs is enough to start. So is one line and the sanitation log.
